NES Game: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

England groans under the Sheriff’s rule. In the NES Game: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Robin fights for the common people, taking wealth from the rich and passing it to the poor. How to play?

Disarm the guards in the first area and free your captured companion before moving deeper into the dungeon. A key taken from a jailer unlocks the doors that lead to the rest of Robin’s friends. Sword attacks cover the early fights, with a bow joining your gear soon after. Extra weapons lie along the escape route, and leaving them behind cuts down your combat options. Backpack space stays limited throughout the run. Carrying too many items slows movement through the prison corridors.
