NES Game: Galaxian

Arcade space combat from 1979 lives on in the NES Game: Galaxian, a home version of one of the earliest coin-op shooters. A lone starship faces rows of enemy craft in deep space, with score values tied to four ship classes. The weakest target pays 30 points. The next class gives 40. A third type awards 50, and the top one adds 60.

How to play?

Guide the ship across the bottom of the screen and fire straight ahead at the machines above. Destroying one rank after another builds your score according to the class you hit. Survival lasts only as long as enemy craft stay off your ship and your shots keep landing.
