Super Mario 3: Star Scramble

Mario is back in the spotlight, finding himself in the familiar lands of the kingdom. This time, the focus is on finding bright stars. Along the way, he encounters pink boxes—don’t skip them, because collecting all the items will help you not miss the main prize. Enemies lurk in various nooks and crannies, so you can always run into a foe that never sleeps. There’s only one way to deal with them: jump right on their head, and the path is clear. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the top panel—it shows how many stars you’ve already collected and how many attempts you have left. If you run out of lives, you’ll have to start over from the very beginning.

How to play?

Controlling Mario is easy: use the usual keys to run, jump, and collect stars. Find out exactly how many stars you need to reach the next level—the required number is always visible at the top. Pink boxes are scattered throughout the level: look for them along the platforms and near enemies. When you encounter an enemy, get close and jump on it to clear the obstacle from your path. Keep an eye on your lives—you only have five—otherwise your entire collection of stars will be lost, and you’ll have to start all over.
