Bus Magnate

"Bus Magnate" is a transportation business simulator where it all starts with a single bus and a single route, and ends with an extensive network of lines and a thriving bus station. The government supports your business with subsidies, the amount of which directly depends on how actively you expand and upgrade the station. The higher the station’s rating, the more new bus routes become available. At the same time, you can build a supermarket right on the station grounds and earn additional revenue from it. The government regularly sets goals—complete them and receive generous rewards.

How to play?

At the start, an assistant will walk you through the basics and guide you through each step—follow their instructions and you’ll get the hang of it quickly. First, build a bus stop, then buy a set of chairs for the waiting area—after all, passengers need to be comfortable. Buy buses and schedule them for routes; the more buses in operation, the less downtime and the higher the passenger traffic. Money comes in only after passengers leave, so make sure routes aren’t left idle. Buy the necessary equipment for each station department and upgrade it in a timely manner—this boosts both revenue and your rating at the same time. When the station reaches its upgrade limit, a new location opens up, which you develop using the same strategy.
