"Net Fishing" is a calm yet addictive simulator where everything revolves around strategic fishing and gradual progression. You find yourself at various bodies of water, ranging from simple and accessible to rarer and more exploratory ones—and you start with basic gear, gradually upgrading your capabilities step by step. The game features 7 categories of catch: peaceful fish, predators, oceanic species, other fauna, ancient creatures, toxic organisms, and even trash, which sometimes gets caught in your nets. Because of this, every cast is a little bit of a mystery: you never know exactly what you’ll pull out this time. Gradually, you’ll start building your trophy collection and unlocking new fishing spots. There’s a wide variety of gear here: standard nets, spider nets, crab traps, fish baskets, gloves, and bait—all of which affect your results. Plus, there’s a full range of character gear: caps, jackets, pants, shoes, protective gear, and containers. Through the shop, you can both sell your catch and stock up on everything you need to level up further. Locations are divided into three types: permanent (there are the most of these—6), rented (2), and research (2 more). Access to them isn’t immediate—you’ll have to earn money and gradually progress further. Visually, the game is a delight: beautiful bodies of water, changing times of day, pleasant sounds of water, and unobtrusive music create the feeling of real fishing. The developers regularly add content, so even more opportunities appear over time.

How to play?

It all starts simply: choose a location and look for the best spot to cast your net. This is one of the key moments—a good spot directly affects your catch, so sometimes it’s better to spend a couple of seconds choosing than to haul in an empty net. After casting, don’t rush—you need to pull the net in gradually. Abrupt movements can ruin the result, while a careful approach, on the contrary, helps you pull in the maximum catch. Over time, you’ll start to get a better feel for this process and understand how to act in different situations. From there, it’s all about progression: catch a fish—sell it—buy new gear. You can experiment with different types of nets, use bait, upgrade your equipment, and unlock new locations. The better your preparation, the higher your chances of a rare and valuable catch. Ultimately, the game isn’t about speed, but about approach. The more carefully you play and the better you choose your gear and location, the faster you level up and the more interesting the process becomes.
