Domino Maltese Cross Game

"Domino Maltese Cross" is a 2-4 player domino game played with a set of two to six dominoes. Each player receives certain tiles at the beginning of each round. The player who receives the highest double starts the round with that double. The other players rotate clockwise. If no player receives a double, the tiles are collected and re-distributed. The first domino of the Maltese Cross is a spinner, and players need to play the tiles on all four sides before any further moves can be made. This is the first phase of the play. If a player cannot make a move, he/she draws one tile from the give. if that tile can be replayed, it must be replayed. It is not, then the player simply passes the turn to the next player. Once a tile has been placed on all four ends of the starting double, the second phase begins, in which a double on each of the four hands must be played. Once the second phase ends, normal play begins and play continues as block play. In the normal phase, players simply pass the turn if they cannot play a tile and do not draw a tile from the burial. The first player to play out all their tiles wins the round. If the game is blocked, the player with the lowest number of pips in his hand wins. If the two games end up tied at the end of the round, neither player receives any points.
