Dicewars

Colored regions cover the map, and every border invites another attack. In Dicewars, land changes hands through dice battles, with higher totals taking the contested space. Luck shapes every clash. Territory placement still gives room for planning, since bigger stacks hit harder and exposed borders are easier to lose. The push across the board ends only when one side absorbs the rest of the map.

How to play?

Before the first round, choose the number of players. Each side receives a color and a group of regions. A random map card sets the layout. During your turn, select one region you own, then target a neighboring enemy space for the attack. The roll decides the battle after both sides throw their dice. Larger groups raise the total you can roll, but stripping one area for offense leaves that border weaker. At the end of the attack phase, extra dice are awarded based on the number of territories under your control. Place those reinforcements in any regions in your domain.
