Christmas Bridge

Christmas Bridge is a festive bridge-building game set on the eve of the most magical time of the year. Christmas is coming soon, and trucks are heading out to deliver gifts to stores all over the city. One of the drivers runs into a serious problem on his route, there is a gap where a bridge should be, and no way across. You step in as the holiday savior, an engineer who has to quickly fix the situation and help deliver the New Year's surprises on time. The project includes 53 levels with snowy landscapes and Christmas decorations, and the difficulty ramps up little by little, so you have to come up with smarter and more precise solutions as you go. The lower part of the screen shows all the parts you can use, along with how many of each you have for the current level.

How to play?

Click on the part you need, then pick the starting node and drag it to the next one to place it. Lay the asphalt road on top so the truck with New Year's surprises can drive across. Use steel supports and cables to build the main structure. The supports are very rigid and work well for the main load-bearing elements. The cables are more flexible and serve as extra connections between anchor points. Arrange the parts to form triangles, this shape helps keep the whole bridge stable. A triangle spreads the weight along its sides and keeps its shape under the load of the truck. If you make a mistake while building or want to tweak the design, use the delete icon to remove parts. When you finish the bridge, start the test and watch the truck with Christmas gifts drive over it. If your calculations are right and the bridge is strong enough, the truck will make it to the other side and the holiday will be saved. If the bridge collapses or bends too much, you will need to rebuild it, reinforce weak spots with extra triangular bracing or change where the beams are placed.
