In Oil Well Drilling, an oil baron chases black crude far below layers of stone, pulling up saleable material on the way and digging past buried relics and fossil remains. Green slopes pass into canyon sand, then white plains and broken rock, with each site hiding more ground to cut through and more depth records to beat.

How to play?

Pull the lever to drive the rig downward through earth and stone. Money from extracted ore, precious metal, and rock pays for better fuel use or faster blade rotation. Motor heat needs constant watching. Critical temperature breaks the machine. New drill bits raise drilling efficiency, and greater power pushes the shaft deeper until oil bursts from the well.
