Short Backgammon Game

Short Backgammon is an old famous board game that has gained huge popularity among children and adults. People all over the world play this wonderful game of checkers, which takes place on a wooden game board. Nowadays, you can play Short Backgammon even at the computer screen, laptop, tablet or phone. In this variant of backgammon you will play against the computer, and the rules remain the same.

For each die rolled, you may move one chip by the specified number of divisions. If you roll paired digits, you may use 4 moves instead of 2. If your opponent has one chip, you may "knock it off" the board by moving your chip to that location. Any chips 'knocked down' in this way must first be returned to the board before their owner can move any other chips. Win a backgammon game by reaching the end of the board before your opponent. You may remove your checkers only when they are ALL in your opponent's start area. The less your opponent's pieces have advanced, the more points you get when you win. If you are confident of winning, the doubling cube can be used to double your victory points. Failure of the cube forfeits the game.

How to play?

To win, you have to come up with your own backgammon strategy! Strengthen your backgammon checkers by making sure that all of them are always in stacks of two or more. Knock down your opponent's checkers as often as possible. Create your home territory with two checkers at each point. This makes it harder for your opponent to bounce back into the game after being knocked down. Feeling invigorated?
