The Explorer

An unknown planet surrounds Ellen. Her ship has already touched down, leaving her to cross layered ruins, strange plant growth, and creature-filled paths in The Explorer. Ancient remains stretch through a broad 2D landscape with stacked routes and broken structures. Portal technology from a lost civilization blocks the way forward, so Ellen presses deeper through the wreckage and hostile ground.

How to play?

Search ruined corridors for clue pieces that activate the portal ahead. Across the acid lake, ride moving platforms and time your jumps past jagged crystal hazards. Chests contain healing elixir, which restores health after enemy hits or bad falls. If Ellen loses all five lives, she returns to the latest save checkpoint. Smash cracked stone pillars with the wand to clear blocked passages. Blaster shots hit distant levers, which open doors or bring lift mechanisms into motion.
