A lobby full of active rooms sets the pace. In 4 in a Row with Real People, the board supports live matches, private sessions with friends, and computer games when no human rival is needed. Room settings go far beyond the default duel. Match hosts pick board layouts, set the player count anywhere from two to six, and adjust the win requirement away from the usual four connected chips. Private rooms work through a room number. Public rooms wait in the lobby for anyone ready to join.

How to play?

Drop a chip into a column, lining it up horizontally, vertically, or diagonally under the standard rules. A rival's marker above a column shows where the next move may land. Use that clue before placing your piece. Column choice works in more than one way. Move the chip over a column and place it, drag it into position, or use keyboard input to select the slot. Random matchmaking pairs you with another player right away. Custom rooms let you set the match rules before the first chip falls.
