4 in a Row: Reds and Blues

A vertical grid stands between two sides in 4 in a Row: Reds and Blues. Red counters face blue ones on a 7-by-6 board fixed on a stand. Two players share the match. Twenty-three pieces belong to each color, filling all 46 spaces when the board is full. A running score records every finished round.

How to play?

Drop a counter into any column. It falls to the lowest empty cell in that column. Players move in alternating order, placing one piece per move. Build four matching counters in a straight line to end the round. The line may run across, rise diagonally, or stack in a column. Play continues until one color completes that set of four. Red or blue takes the win once the row is made.
