Connect 4: Boardgames.io Game

Boardgames.io's Connect 4 is a multiplayer version of the classic 4-in-a-row game! Play online with hundreds of different players from all over the world or invite your friend to play against each other and determine who's the best! This logic puzzle game will make us look at old board games from a completely different perspective. The game is slightly different from the tabletop version, as it is not in 3D graphics but in 2D, but this does not change the rules of the game or its complexity or the interest of the players.

In the game menu, you can choose one of the language layouts, as well as select the theme of the day or night, as desired!

How to play?

To start the game, you need to press the button - find a player, after which the system will automatically select a random player for you and the game will start. The playing field has a rectangular shape of 6 by 7 cells. There are a total of 7 vertical columns and 6 horizontal rows. Players take turns making a move and dropping red and blue chips into any columns. Each chip always falls at the very bottom of the column if there are still empty cells there. When all 6 cells of the column are filled, the chip can be dropped only in other columns and so on until the whole playing field is full or until one of the players wins. To win, it is necessary to form a line of 4 chips of the same color and this line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
