SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Chess

Face off in a checker battle at the bottom of the ocean in SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Chess. Classic pieces sit on the board, but the rules follow Bikini Bottom style, not standard chess. You play against cartoon characters from the show, clear rival pieces, and block their moves until nothing stays on their side.

The board hosts SpongeBob, Patrick, and other familiar faces from the animated series. Play alone and challenge SpongeBob as your computer rival, or switch to a local two-player mode and share the same screen with a friend. Regular pieces only move forward, while capture moves can jump across several enemy checkers in different directions. Crowning works differently here, though. A crowned piece doesn’t gain free movement over the whole board, since local rules limit its options even after promotion.

How to play?

Click or tap a checker to select it, then pick a legal square to complete the move. Jump over opponent pieces to remove them from the board and open new paths. Chain several captures in one turn when the layout lets your piece keep jumping. Corner rival pieces against the edges so they run out of any legal path and lose.
