Worm: Apple Quest
In Worm: Apple Quest, you guide a little worm through crossings and corridors in search of a golden apple. It crawls through grid cells, peeks around corners, and looks for tight spots it can squeeze through. The game plays like a classic snake game, but the levels are built so that your body length constantly changes the situation on the field. Sometimes a short worm can slip through narrow gaps, while a long one opens up more ways to go around pits and chasms. Every apple you collect changes the layout of your possible route.
The locations mix straight passages with awkward bends where you have to guess how much space your body will take. The worm grows step by step, so you can watch how the space around you changes and which cells become unreachable. The more confusing the path, the more carefully you need to choose your direction so you do not end up in a tangled knot.
How to play?
Move the worm along the cells. It moves right away in the direction you choose, so pay attention to where the next turn will take you. Collect regular apples to increase your length, then check where you can now crawl. If a narrow corridor is ahead, turn in advance so you do not get stuck. Sometimes it is better to grab an apple later, so look over the path before you start moving.
Plan your route to the golden apple by combining short sections with wider passages. If your body blocks the exit, restart the level and try a different order of collecting apples. Move through the stages one by one, choosing good spots for your turns and gradually finding the safest way to the goal.
