Zero Wing

Year 2101 hangs over a wrecked spaceliner after attackers from an unknown world rip through the ship near their planet. One surviving pilot escapes in a small craft, reports the massacre to allied forces, and traces the threat back to its source. The investigation reveals an invasion plan aimed at the pilot's home planet. In Zero Wing, the survivor answers first strike with a battleship armed for a counterattack against the alien fleet.

How to play?

Guide the warship through heavy enemy fire and shift position fast enough to avoid direct hits as hostile ships crowd the screen. Blast down as many attackers as possible during each assault, then hold formation until reinforcements arrive and the offensive moves forward.
