Otello Two Player

An 8x8 grid fills with black and white discs in Otello Two Player. Two rivals claim squares across the board, and the color balance can swing hard before the final spaces disappear. A lead halfway through the match doesn't guarantee the last count. Passed turns also change the pace, since a player with no legal capture must sit out until a valid placement appears.

How to play?

Place a disc on an empty square with at least one opposing disc trapped in a straight line between discs of your color. Every enclosed disc on that line flips to your side after the placement. A move without a capture isn't legal. Alternate placements until neither side has a valid move left. The match ends with a board count, and the higher total wins.
