American Billiard

A green felt table waits with six pockets and a full rack at the center. In a match of American Billiards, classic 8-ball rules set the pace for solo play or a duel against the computer. Fifteen numbered balls form the triangle, and the black 8 stays for the final shot. Drop it too early, and the frame ends in a loss.

How to play?

Strike the rack hard enough for at least three balls to reach a cushion on the break. Pot your group before calling the black 8 into a pocket. A foul hands the table to the opponent. The ball in hand follows, placing the cue ball anywhere before the next shot.
