Jumpy Pig

A little pink pig was wandering around near her house, minding her own business—when suddenly an abyss blocked her path. She can’t go around it, nor can she jump across in a single bound. Her only chance to get to the other side is to hop from platform to platform as they float over the cliff. And here, the pig can’t manage without your help. The game is called “Jumpy Pig,” and the goal is simple: guide the heroine across the chasm alive and unharmed. You won’t have to spend much time figuring out the rules—it’s easy for both kids and adults—but actually completing a level is a whole other story.

How to play?

The pig stands right at the edge of the cliff, and in front of her are platforms of various sizes and colors; each row moves at its own pace and in its own direction. Use the spacebar to control her jumps: from one platform to another, trying to land as close to the center as possible—that’s where you’ll earn the most points. Don’t hesitate to jump: if you linger on a platform, it’ll roll off the edge of the screen—and that’s it, you’ve failed the level. If you misjudge the jump and miss the platforms, the piglet falls into the abyss, and you’ll have to start all over again. Reaction time is important here, but timing is even more crucial: if you get the platforms’ rhythm right, the piglet will reach the other side without a single scratch.
