NES Game: River City Ransom

Street gangs crowd the city blocks, and two martial arts students get pulled into the mess after bandits abduct their girlfriend. In the NES Game: River City Ransom, Alex and Ryan leave schoolwork behind and chase the crew responsible, moving through long stretches of town packed with thugs ready to steal from them. Their training in Eastern martial arts gives them the edge, and the search for the kidnapper pushes the fight from one street to the next. Solo play is available. Two players make the rescue run easier.

How to play?

Punch through gang members and grab whatever lands on the pavement. Street weapons add extra damage, including chains and knives. Nunchakus also show up during fights. Alex or Ryan can battle alone, or both can fight side by side in co-op. Press forward through the city until the kidnapper appears, then finish the final brawl to rescue the captured girl.
