The goddess Athena stands in front of a ruined temple. Columns are knocked down, artifacts are scattered. In the puzzle game Athena Match 2, you help her restore the ancient buildings of Greece. Amphorae, shields, laurel wreaths, and Zeus' lightning bolts lie on the playing field. You need to collect three identical items in a row—they will disappear and earn you points. The story takes you through different regions of Ancient Greece. Each temple reveals new mysteries of the gods, and each level brings you closer to solving ancient secrets. You collect artifacts, complete tasks, and listen to Athena's advice. With each level you complete, the temples become stronger and the world becomes brighter.

How to play

In this match-three game, you swap two adjacent artifacts on the field. Click on an amphora, then on the adjacent shield — they will swap places. If the swap results in a line of three or more identical items, they disappear. New artifacts fall from above to replace them. The goals of each level are different. Sometimes you need to collect twenty amphorae and fifteen wreaths. Then you look for these items on the field and line them up in rows. Collect artifacts next to the slab, and it will crack and disappear. In other levels, you need to free blocked cells or collect keys. The number of moves is limited. You will see a number in the corner of the screen—this is the number of moves you have left. Plan each step and see what combinations are possible. Boosters help in difficult situations. Use them when you are stuck or have few moves left. Obstacles complicate the task. Chains appear on artifacts — they need to be broken twice.
