The goddess Athena stands before a ruined temple. Columns have fallen, and artifacts lie scattered everywhere. In the puzzle game Athena Match 2, you help her restore the ancient buildings of Greece. Amphorae, shields, laurel wreaths, and Zeus's lightning bolts appear on the board. You need to line up three identical items in a row so they disappear and earn you points. The story takes you through different regions of Ancient Greece. Each temple reveals new mysteries of the gods, and each level brings you closer to ancient secrets. You collect artifacts, complete tasks, and follow Athena's advice. With every level you finish, the temples grow stronger and the world becomes brighter.

How to play?

In this match-3 puzzle game, you swap two adjacent artifacts on the field. Click on an amphora, then on the shield next to it so they trade places. If the swap creates a line of three or more identical items, they disappear. New artifacts then fall from above to fill the empty spaces.

The goals of each level are different. Sometimes you need to collect twenty amphorae and fifteen wreaths, so you search for these items on the board and line them up in rows. If you collect artifacts next to a stone slab, it will crack and then disappear. On other levels, you need to clear blocked cells or collect keys. The number of moves is limited. You see a number in the corner of the screen, which shows how many moves you have left. Plan each move and look for possible combinations. Boosters help in difficult situations, so use them when you are stuck or running low on moves. Obstacles make the game harder, like chains that appear on artifacts and must be broken twice.
