Return to Candy Land: Episode 1 is the first installment of the popular puzzle series set in a sweet land made entirely of candy, jelly, and lollipops. It’s a unique take on the match-three genre: instead of swapping pieces to form lines, you must find clusters of three or more identical candies on the board yourself. Before you begin your journey, a map opens showing the levels, the starting point, and the finish line; the first episode features a total of 35 levels of increasing difficulty. There’s no time limit, so you can take your time and enjoy the vibrant graphics. Each level has its own objective; the number of candies you need to eliminate is displayed in a special star-shaped bar at the top of the screen. You can track your overall completion percentage or watch the score bar—once it’s full, you’ll clear the level. Overall, all levels follow a single storyline, arranged in a chain on a special level map that looks like a path.

How to play?

Find a cluster of three or more identical candies or jellies on the board and tap it; they’ll disappear, making room for new ones. Try to chain together multiple groups in a row to earn more points and activate bonus candies for even more points. Keep an eye on the star bar at the top of the screen to see how many candies you still need to clear to complete the level. Clear level after level, advance through the Candy Land map, and try to score as many points as possible for the leaderboard.
