Mario Maker

Mario Maker lets you run Mario through sample stages first, then switch over and build your own courses. The opening two levels work as a quick preview. Play them, watch how jumps and enemy spots feel, then sketch a new route with your own layout. Super Mario stays at the center of the action, but the usual path through the Mushroom Kingdom isn't fixed here. You can open the level editor, pick parts from the tool set, and place them on the field. Use platform blocks, question blocks, gold blocks, green pipe pieces, flagpole parts, and Goombas. You can also change the map size to small, medium, or large. Saved stages wait in Load Levels, ready for another test run.

How to play?

Start with the first two stages. Move Mario, jump across platforms, and check how the built-in courses place blocks, pipes, and enemies. Those short runs give you a model for your own designs. Open the Level Editor when you're ready to build. Click an object, then drop it onto the grid. Set platform sections first. Add question blocks or gold blocks above them. Snap pipe parts together, place a flagpole near the finish, then add Goombas to block the route. Choose a stage size before you finish the layout. Save the course when the path looks right. Open "Load Levels" to pick any stored map and play through it with Mario.
