In the online arena of Wormax.io, player-controlled worms compete for the top spot on the size leaderboard. Eat the food scattered across the map, grow longer, and cut off rival worms before they trap you. Invite a friend through a personal link, pick any worm color in the skins section, and register to collect essence and buy special artifacts in the store.
How to play?
Enter a nickname and hit Play to jump onto the map. Gather food, grab boosters, and use their effects before the one-minute timer runs out. Acceleration burns mass while raising speed. A sudden stop and transparency help slip past danger or set up an attack. Climb the ranking table by growing larger than the rest.

Your worm can do more than just crawl around, picking up food and boosters.
As you gain length, skills become available to you:
- Acceleration - increases the worm's movement speed. They are activated by clicking the left mouse or Q button when gaining length from 11. When used, this skill spends ten units of length per second.
- Stop - Stops the worm's movement as long as the button is pressed (but not longer than 5 seconds). It becomes available once length 100 is reached. Activated by pressing and holding the W button.
- Ghost - makes the worm transparent for 5 seconds. During this time, the worm can cross with other worms without dying. They are activated by pressing E for 500 length.
After using the second and third skills, the skill is recharged. If the worm's length becomes lower than the receiving threshold after receiving a skill, the skill remains with the player until the end of the game session.
Boosters:
Boosters are bonuses that give your worm certain abilities and increase its characteristics for a while.
