Mope.io is a browser-based multiplayer game where players control different animals and compete against other participants from around the world. At the beginning of the game, you have to choose whether you start as a small mouse or a shrimp. The game map is divided into land and water zones, each of which affects animal behavior differently. Aquatic creatures feel comfortable in water, but on land they need to replenish their water supply regularly. Land animals can move in both types of zones, but they move slower in water. The goal of the game is to evolve by eating resources, evolving and avoiding larger predators.

How to play?

At the beginning of the game, you can choose one of two creatures: mouse or shrimp. This choice will affect your play style, as aquatic creatures pump faster in the water, while land-based creatures are more versatile. The control panel displays two important bars: one is responsible for your water supply, the other for your creature's mass. Aquatic animals need regular water replenishment, which you can do by collecting blue cups or swimming in bodies of water. When the mass indicator fills up, your animal will be able to evolve into a larger form, which will unlock new abilities. New creatures will be able to eat more resources and even hunt other animals. At each stage of the game, you need to watch out for larger predators that may eat you. Use wit and agility to avoid danger and continue your progression. Eat berries and other resources to grow. The greater the mass of your animal, the better your chances of surviving and becoming the dominant player on the map.
