Skinwalker

Night closes in around a cabin deep in the woods. An aging woodsman lives there alone, feeding a small stove to hold back the cold. Skinwalker stalks the area as a deer-shaped predator with human traces, red eyes, and a cruel gait. Real animals crowd the trees around the hut, giving the creature perfect cover near the door. One trip for firewood can place the old man within reach of the beast. The danger stays close to home.

How to play?

Step outside to gather logs and bring them back to the stove before the room loses its heat. Between the herd, watch for the deer that rises onto its hind legs, revealing the Skinwalker at the moment it moves in. Run back to the cabin the instant that sign appears, then crawl under the bed to avoid the attack. During every dash through the snow, your warmth drops fast, and freezing ends the run before the monster does. Feed the stove again after each return, then judge whether there's time for another trip into the yard.
