Russian Checkers

Across the 8x8 board, black and white pieces follow the Russian rules used in the tabletop version. In Russian Checkers, you can face the computer or share the match with a friend on the same screen. Red moves first. Each side receives 12 men, and the layout matches the standard opening setup. Promotion changes the pace fast. Reaching the far edge crowns a piece and unlocks movement in both directions across the diagonals.

How to play?

Click a checker to select it. Tap a highlighted square to place that piece on a diagonal space. Jump over an opposing piece to capture it. Kings travel backward as well as forward, which changes how you block lanes and set up captures.
