What a Walk

In What a Walk, you control a funny character with long dangling legs. He walks across bridges, jumping platforms, and narrow planks, and everything around him looks like a strange path where each step takes up almost half the distance. The atmosphere is simple and fun, and the entire road is built like a chain of small challenges: somewhere there is an abyss, then a swinging platform, then a flag that turns into a return point. This is a physical arcade game, so the legs behave erratically, and that's where all the fun is.

How to play?

Pull one leg back, choose where to put it, and let go. Then pull the other leg back, moving forward and trying not to fall into the water. In this walking arcade game, it's important to catch the moment when your footing shifts slightly, so watch how the character places their foot and choose your next step accordingly. Flags are located in different areas of the map, and when you knock one down, a new checkpoint appears. If you fall, What a Walk returns you to the last such location. In more difficult areas, the gaps become wider, and you have to pull your leg further, trying to land on the edge of the platform. Sometimes the path is at an angle, and the character tilts, so it's helpful to put your foot down a little earlier. In a physical game of this type, it's convenient to orient yourself by the distance between the supports, then try different positions and find a comfortable pace. As you move forward, you unlock new levels and gradually get used to how your feet react. Can you go far?
