Retro Battle

A small town runs on portable consoles and cartridge duels. In Retro Battle, local kids size each other up by the rank floating above their heads, from amateur and beginner to pro, hardcore, and hacker. Street matches decide who's stronger at old-school arcade games, and candy works as prize money for fresh tapes. Loose sweets and other valuables also lie around the city, waiting to be picked up between battles.

How to play?

Challenge passersby whose rank fits your current collection, then enter a minigame race to the target score before the rival gets there first. Practice rounds help learn how each cartridge works before betting a match on it. Candy buys new tapes, which expand the arcade lineup and give you more choices for the next duel. Valuable pickups on the streets add extra resources during the walk through town.
