FWG Bridge 2

FWG Bridge 2 picks up the bridge-building story and raises the challenge. Now you are not just sending alien creatures across the gap, you are also guiding robots, people, animals, and other travelers. They all need a solid route, and the situation changes every time, so you have to think through every design. The map has several different landscapes, and you need to move through each one carefully, because even a small mistake can send your characters falling. Every bridge you build becomes a small rescue route for the ones waiting at the start, and they are all counting on you to get them to the other side.

All eight levels are open from the start, but it is usually easier to begin with level one and slowly figure out how the construction system works. You have two types of material to work with. Wood is cheaper and works well for simple supports, and metal is stronger but costs more, so you need to mix them wisely to keep the structure stable. Each level has its own budget, and you have to watch your spending, although you can turn on unlimited mode in the main menu if you want to forget about money for a while.

How to play?

To create a part of the bridge, left-click on a green dot and drag the line to the spot where you want that piece to go. If you do not need a part anymore, click on it and then delete it with the key on your keyboard. To see the whole map, move your cursor to the buttons at the edges of the screen, and the view will slide over.

The green line marks the road surface that the characters can walk on. If you place parts above or below that line, they will not be able to move along them and will just fall. The other pieces work as supports, and the strongest bridge is always built out of triangles, because that shape spreads the weight more evenly. When you think the bridge is ready, hit the test button and see if your travelers can actually make it across. If the bridge collapses, go back into the design, find the weak spots, and reinforce them. You can save your finished bridges and come back to them at any time to tweak or completely rework your builds.
