Cupid Unchained

The game Cupid Unchained transports you to a world where a small winged hero is left alone with a bunch of intricate traps. Cupid flies over the levels with a bow in his hands, looking for a way to help those who are bound by chains. Prisoners hang on ropes, stand on platforms, or are stuck between mechanisms. Time is short, so you can't delay. If you miss your shot, the chain remains intact, and your chances of saving everyone decrease. Cupid has already broken free from his chains, and now his task is to shoot accurately and think about the best way to break the chains. Blocks, spikes, wooden beams, and other objects appear in the levels, affecting the flight of the arrow.

How to play

In the game, control the crosshairs by holding down the mouse button or your finger on the screen, then pull back, choosing the direction and power of the shot. Release — the arrow flies in an arc, collides with objects, and can change its trajectory. The chains break after a direct hit, and the prisoner is immediately freed. Sometimes it is easier to shoot straight, sometimes it is more advantageous to use a rebound from a wall or beam. Pay attention to what is around the target. The arrow can hit an extra object, touch a mechanism, or fall past, so examine the level in advance by moving the camera and choosing a convenient angle. The timer gradually decreases, so act quickly without making unnecessary shots. If you miss, immediately adjust your aim and shoot again. In more difficult stages, several chains appear at different heights. In such situations, it is useful to first free those who are obstructing your view, then move on to the rest. Arrows obey the laws of physics, so this shooting puzzle is often solved in an unconventional way. Sometimes one accurate shot frees several prisoners at once.
