Battleship War

Notebook-style naval combat sets the board. Battleship War pits a lone fleet against the computer on a hidden sea grid, with ships placed before the first shot lands. Classic mode uses the standard duel. Advanced mode adds two abilities available for points during the exchange. Enemy vessels go down only after every occupied cell takes a hit, and the match ends when one fleet is wiped out.

How to play?

Place ships with gaps between them, forcing the computer to search a wider patch of water after each strike. Pick grid squares and fire missiles or torpedoes at suspected positions. In Advanced mode, spend saved points on one of the two extra powers when a regular shot covers too little ground. Read the pattern of misses and damaged hulls, then aim the next attack at the remaining cells.
