Battleship in Cage

Across a 10x10 sea grid, the enemy fleet stays out of sight. The naval duel in Battleship in Cage pits your shots against a rival commander racing to wipe out every ship first. Hints can narrow the hunt, and a special strike may swing a tense exchange. Skip that extra attack if you want, though even the weakest opponent puts up a hard fight.

How to play?

Place five warships on your board before firing the first shot. Choose them from ten ship categories, taking only one vessel from any category. Ship sizes differ, and empty squares must separate one boat from the next. A yellow highlight marks the selected vessel. Red squares block an illegal placement. During combat, fire at one cell to probe the grid. When a yellow triangle appears on the targeted square, an enemy ship sits within one yard in any direction, including diagonals. On your move, press Special Attack to use your single bonus strike. Many attack types appear under that option. Use the available strike well and finish the opposing fleet before they finish yours.
