Mustard wallpaper stretches through endless office corridors. Escape the Backrooms 1 traps a team of scientists inside a fluorescent maze, cut off from the real world. Their expedition entered the Backrooms to study the anomaly for research, then the portal sealed shut behind them. Empty halls and office lights press down with a dead, yellow gloom. Creatures living in this place stalk the intruders on sight. Escape waits beneath a black hole in the ceiling, reached only after gathering seven wooden planks for a ladder.

How to play?

Pick up planks and carry them toward the exit point. Build the ladder fast under pursuit. A map in the right corner marks boards, demons, and the escape spot in separate colors. Red markers signal danger. Watch their movement, change your route, and bring all seven pieces to the ceiling breach.
