Long Backgammon
Ancient race logic fills the board in Long Backgammon. Two sets of chips travel in opposite directions across the long row of triangles, racing to complete a full circuit and bear every piece off the board before the rival side does. This version uses separate rounds without point scoring. The opening roll decides the first move, and the higher number takes initiative using both dice from that opening contest. Counterclockwise movement belongs to the side in the upper right corner. Clockwise movement belongs to the side in the lower right corner.
How to play?
Move the top chip from a triangle by the exact number shown on the dice. Land on an empty point, a point occupied by your own stack, or a point holding a single opposing chip. A lone enemy chip goes to the middle bar after contact. Its owner must re-enter that piece from the beginning before making any other move. Roll two dice on each turn. Doubles act as four matching dice. Bring all of your chips around the board, then remove them through bearing off. Use every die whenever a legal move exists. A skipped die stays unavailable only when no legal continuation remains after the first move.
