The Anomaly Button

Want to rattle your nerves? Then hold tight. In The Anomaly Button you face a truly anomalous guardian — just plain scary. This is a fast-reaction anomaly game with nightmarish hallucination effects. You watch a single button and wait for the right moment to press it. It seems simple, but mirages, silhouettes, and sudden sounds keep jumping out on the screen. You have to stay focused and ignore everything that does not matter.

How to play?

Keep your eyes on the button and wait until it turns green. The instant you see the green light, press it — you only get three seconds. If you tap while the button is red, the game ends. Miss the green signal and you also lose, so stay patient and sharpen your reaction time. During a round, different anomalies appear: creepy creatures, visual distractions, flashes, and sounds try to break your rhythm. Do not react to them, just track the button’s color. In the upper left corner, a counter shows your successful presses. Each correct green press increases your score. The settings are in the upper right corner — opening them pauses the game, so you can adjust options and continue the same run. How many presses in a row can you pull off without a single mistake?
