Zombie Survival: Dark Days

Zombie Survival: Dark Days follows Carter, a lone hunter stuck on the quarantine island of Colbrook after a virus wipes out most of the population. Infected residents now roam the streets as zombies, while a few scattered survivors hide in barricaded houses and ruined buildings. Carter has to fight through the island, collect resources, and move these people into safer shelters before trying to escape. The island is split into zones packed with undead, junk piles, and loot crates. Carter explores each area, clears out zombies, and checks every crate for materials, ammo, and gear. Protected houses serve as safe spots where survivors stay after being rescued, so keeping those buildings secure is crucial to reaching the end of the game.

How to play?

Move through Colbrook, locate survivors, and escort them to the barricaded houses. Reinforce those barricades whenever possible so zombies do not break in during attacks. Rescue more people to open extra safe rooms and reduce how often you need to cross dangerous streets. Equip different weapons and switch them as needed. Guns, assault rifles, shotguns, crossbows, throwing knives, Molotov cocktails, mines, and grenades help control bigger groups or tougher infected. Melee weapons stay important because they smash crates for crafting materials and keep Carter alive when ammo runs dry.

Collect blueprints to unlock new crafting options. With them, Carter can craft first aid kits to restore health, sticky bombs that open reinforced doors, picklocks to get into restricted areas, and extra weapons. Letters scattered around Colbrook explain how certain items are made and reveal details about the virus and what happened before Carter arrived.

Three enemy types patrol the island: slow zombies, fast runners, and huge zombie monsters. Slow zombies fall quickly if they do not surround Carter. Runners close the distance fast and handle more damage, so they punish sloppy positioning. Zombie monsters hit extremely hard, and direct contact ends the run instantly. Watch corners, check the dark alleys before rushing in, and keep some explosives in reserve for bigger threats.
