Lukomorye: Fairytale Descent

Once every hundred years, the mysterious city of Kitezh reveals itself to people for just one night, and you must make it down from the snowy mountains before dawn breaks. In the game “Lukomorye: Fairytale Descent,” you’ll race on a painted board past a hut on chicken legs, across the snow-covered roofs of the village, over the fiery Smorodina River, and straight along the golden chain hanging from the prophetic oak tree, where the learned cat sits. All the while, Baba Yaga flies right on the hero’s heels in her mortar, forcing you to keep up a brisk pace on the way to the finish line. The journey takes you through six picturesque zones, including the Forest Edge, the Birch Grove, the Village, Lukomorye, the Kalina Bridge, and the shining golden domes of Kitezh-Grad under the northern lights.

How to play?

A single quick tap will help your hero nimbly leap over bonfires, rocks, or deep chasms. Tap and hold the button while in flight to perform crazy double and triple backflips for a heap of bonus points. The key is to release the button just in time before hitting the snow, because a smooth landing gives you a powerful boost, while a fall will immediately send you back to the start of the current descent. Jump onto the roofs of little huts, ropes, and golden chains to perform cool combo tricks. Catch rolling Koloboks, collect coins, and pick up magical bonuses—such as the “At the Pike’s Command” bonus, which draws riches to you, and the Firebird’s feather, which helps you glide smoothly over dangerous obstacles in the fairy-tale world of Lukomorye. Stop by the workshop to extend the duration of your abilities, level up “Pike’s Command” or “Lifesaving Rope,” and complete daily quests to collect coins or perform flips. Choose one of five characters from the store—including Alyonushka, Vasilisa the Wise, and the Snow Maiden—and buy new scarves and unique boards featuring traditional Khokhloma, Gzhel, Gorodets, Mezen, Zhostovo, and Palekh designs. Earn rubies, claim daily rewards, and switch from standard mode to “Calm Descent” mode whenever you want—no chases or falls.
