World War
A single nation stands under your command. In World War, you step in as commander-in-chief of a major power and push it toward military strength and economic growth. Allies are hard to secure, so your own country often carries the whole campaign. Your decisions change the position of rival states on the map. Army expansion needs attention early, with fresh troops, ground vehicles, and helicopters feeding your war machine. Roads, industry, and other civilian systems need money too, because a weak infrastructure drags the country down. A wider conflict can break into open war, and then large troop deployments decide the fighting.
How to play?
Pick a flag for the nation you'll command: the USA, Brazil, Turkey, Russia, China, Great Britain, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, India, or Saudi Arabia. Other options include Egypt, France, Germany, South Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Algeria, Canada, Iran, and Africa. Five move cards drive your actions: investment, technology, sabotage, missiles, and propaganda. The satellite gathers intelligence on other countries, giving you a read on their position before you play a card. Soldiers, aircraft, and armored units should grow alongside civilian development, because both sides of the state demand spending during a long campaign.
