Tanks: Battle City

One little tank, a maze of city blocks, and swarms of enemy machines rolling in — that's what you step into during the game "Tanks: Battle City". The city never stays quiet for long. Brick walls surround your base, but those aren't as strong as you'd hope. Sometimes, you'll see patches of tall grass for cover and a wave of tanks heading your way. Maps keep changing with every battle, so things never play out the same twice. Your tiny tank might look outnumbered, but you keep your home safe with a sharp blast and some quick moves.

How to play?

First things first, drive your tank with the arrow keys. Blast away by tapping the shoot button when a foe rolls into view. That base at the heart of the city? Protect it at all costs — if it falls, you're out for that round. Hide behind walls when trouble comes, or zip into the green camouflage to stay out of sight. Enemy tanks don't wait around; they'll crowd in, so keep moving and fire back. Look for bonus items that pop up on the map — one gives you a protective shield, another makes your shots stronger, and there's even one that freezes enemies for a moment. Sometimes, you'll catch a glimpse of a tough red tank — that's the big boss. Knock it out, and the enemy's base opens up for attack. Finish off all the threats to win the level and head on to the next city map. Twenty rounds, plenty of action. Keep an eye on your surroundings, grab every bonus you find, and blast those tanks before they break through to your base.
