Metal Crunch: Confrontation
A voice crackles over the radio: “We’ve got a penetration—we’ve taken out the Tiger! Base, we need fire support!” A brief reply comes back: “Thanks, brothers, we’re breaking through the left flank—you can’t get through us.” This is what one of the battles sounds like in the game “Metal Crunch: Confrontation,” dedicated to World War II-era tanks. Two teams battle each other, and both have their own crews and military vehicles. Armor hums under the impact of hits, tracks tear up the ground, and shells fly by so close you can hear the metal crunch. A rookie—known here as a “salaga”—will have to fight from the very first tank and the very first shot.
How to play?
There are over 50 tanks in the garage, but you can only unlock a new vehicle by upgrading the previous one. As your tank improves, so does your crew’s skill: the tankers’ abilities and the vehicle’s modules get better. You’ll feel the difference between a stock tank and an upgraded one right away. The stats show the vehicle’s armor, speed, and damage values. For example, they might be 1,500 armor points, 1,600 speed points, and 1,900 damage points. That’s why it makes sense to save up resources rather than just completing levels. You can fortify your military base, and its support in battle helps you destroy entire battalions of enemy tanks. Before a battle, you select a tank and a team, then choose one of five modes: Training, Standard, Skirmish, Story, or Hardcore. Victory goes to whoever destroys the enemy’s vehicles or captures the base. In some modes, after destroying three tanks, you can call in an airstrike, and using the general’s data on the map, you can identify a target for a long-range attack. Between battles, you can open daily crates and complete personal and daily combat missions. You’ll also earn tanks for completing quests. Be sure to check out the store, where you’ll find everything you need to pierce enemy armor. Log-in rewards are awarded every three hours and once a day; your stats track your progress, and the top-performing tankers make it onto the leaderboard. Wipe out enemy vehicles, penetrate even the heaviest armor, and emerge victorious in battle.
