Villains of Sword and Magic

A defeated necromancer wakes up after a very long magical sleep with one clear plan in mind: wipe out the heroes who sealed his soul and grab the kingdom back. In Villains of Sword and Magic, you play as this villain, slowly rebuilding dark power and stacking up an undead army level by level. The story moves through a chain of battles where every fight lets you grow stronger, unlock tougher servants, and push your revenge across the realm.

How to play?

Start each round with a limited number of souls and an empty field. Spend those souls to summon basic soldiers and warlocks, then drop them onto the grid before the enemy wave arrives. Soldiers fight in melee and hold the front line. Warlocks attack from range, so they work better in the back where enemies reach them later. If you place units in clean rows, it becomes easier to read the fight and react to new waves.

Defeat enemy squads to earn more souls. The strategy twist is that every new wave raises the price of calling in fresh undead warriors. To keep up, merge identical units into stronger versions. Fewer, upgraded fighters hit harder and free up space for smarter layouts. If you misbuy, swap out a servant or sacrifice one to refund some of the souls you spent. A traveling merchant may offer discounts, letting you buy stronger units earlier than usual.

Big bosses appear on specific levels and drop magic stones after you win. Use these stones to upgrade one of your favorite servants and lock in long-term power for later battles. New spells also open up as you progress, letting you drop heavy magic at key moments to swing tough fights.
