Hug of War

The kingdom wakes up to a freezing blast, the sky rips open, and a giant portal hangs above the farms. Demons pour out, trolls capture villagers, and the fields turn into a war zone. In Hug of War, you play as the ruler trying to push the monsters back and seal the portal before the whole realm falls apart. Start with a tiny safe plot and a damaged castle. Clear nearby ruins and rebuild basic structures so people have somewhere to work and store resources. As the map opens up, explore the fogged areas to reveal treasure spots, enemy camps, and blocked passages that lead deeper into your lands.

How to play?

Repair essential buildings first, then set workers to collect wood, stone, and ore. Construct mills, sawmills, quarries, mines, and other economic structures to keep your resource flow stable. Use the free construction bonus when you unlock it to finish key buildings faster, especially upgrades for your main castle and border defenses. Send squads into the forest to defeat the trolls and free captured villagers. Rescued people immediately boost your population and open new regions on the strategy map, giving more space for buildings and more resources to control. Visit the Tavern regularly, accept requests from your people, and complete them to raise their prosperity and keep your settlement growing.

Once your economy looks solid, join raids against monster groups to earn extra loot and rare materials. Tame certain monsters instead of just fighting them, then assign them to useful work so they support your kingdom. Keep expanding, keep fortifying the borders, and keep pushing toward that cursed portal until Hug of War becomes your clean, demon-free homeland.
