Stikman: Escape from a Nuthouse drops the familiar stickman hero into a locked psychiatric hospital that feels more like a high-security prison. He has to make his way through 15 levels, each a challenge on the way to freedom and home. The gameplay is built around choosing the right actions and items, and every decision can lead to either a successful escape or a complete failure. Each level is a separate room or area inside the hospital, where you get three choices for what to do or use. The tone mixes escape tension with the usual humor of the Stikman series, and the music and art style set the mood for this odd little adventure. Your main goal is to clear all fifteen stages and finally reach home, where the hero will finally be safe and free.
How to play?
You control Stikman by choosing one of the three options offered on each level. In the first room, for example, you might need to pick between a knife, a bat, or another item, and your job is to figure out which one will actually help you move on. Every new room throws you into a fresh situation with three possible ways out. Try to think logically and pay attention to what is happening around you. Some answers are pretty clear, while others call for unusual thinking. You can follow your gut, but if you pick wrong, your escape attempt fails, and you have to replay the level. Sometimes you will need to bribe the right person, and sometimes you will need to pick the correct door to move forward. Work your way through all fifteen levels in order, and at the end, Stikman will finally make it back to his own home, having pulled off a successful escape from the mental hospital in this stickman escape game.
