In Bikini Bottom Chess, you sit at the board against familiar faces from the show, play full matches, and clear opponents one by one until the bracket ends. Tournament progress also unlocks extra characters, so every victory moves you closer to a full roster. Single matches with a friend work differently and let you share one screen for a standard chess duel.

Single-player runs through several rivals, and the final table belongs to Plankton. He doesn’t give free moves, so read the whole position before you trade pieces. Think about the reply to each move, not just the capture you want right now. Only a clean run through every contestant in solo mode opens the last locked character for two-player matches.

How to play?

Pick single-player to climb the local tournament ladder, or choose the two-player option for a head-to-head board game. Select an available Bikini Bottom character to sit at the chess side you like. When the match loads, click or tap a piece, then pick a valid square to place it. Watch how the current opponent responds, then plan the next turn around that new layout. Beat Plankton at the final stage in solo mode to mark the full tournament as complete and to unlock the final playable character for later sessions.
