Sand Flasks: The Alchemist's Secret
An alchemist’s workshop sits quiet, with glass flasks on the shelves and layers of colored sand inside them. It looks like the master stepped away for a moment and left everything untouched. Sand Flasks: The Alchemist's Secret lets you sort through the flasks, untangle the disorder, and move closer to the alchemist’s secret. The pace stays relaxed. Some levels take only a couple of minutes, while others ask for more time.
How to play?
Tap a flask to lift the top layer of sand, then tap another flask to pour it there. Sand can go into an empty flask or onto a top layer of the same color. A standard flask holds exactly four portions. Finish the level by filling each flask with one color or emptying it completely. Earn three stars by staying within the move limit. Avoid using an empty flask too early, since it serves as your main resource.
Later, special flasks appear in the workshop. The giant flask holds eight portions. It accepts only the most common color on the board and doesn't return any sand. The flask on the scales carries a weight. Fill it with four portions of the required color, and the chain raises the bars blocking the neighboring flasks. If a flask is locked, find the key in the sand. Once the key reaches the top, it flies into the lock by itself. The ice flask stays frozen. The number on the ice shows how many more flasks must be completed, and each completed flask adds a crack. The alchemical cauldron creates a new color from a "color plus color" recipe. Pour in two colors, one portion at a time, to produce two portions of the new color. They flow into the flask under the cauldron, though the recipe must be brewed twice. Open layers let one portion sit on top of a different color for a while, covering extra sand and giving access to lower layers. Some sand sits under a question mark. It stays invisible and can't be moved until it reaches the top. Flasks also come in different sizes. Small flasks hold three portions, and large ones hold five. A stack of five portions of one color fits only in a large flask.
