Butterfly Sort Puzzle

Colorful butterflies are all mixed together on the leaves. Red, blue, yellow, and green wings are scattered across different stems. In the game Butterfly Sort Puzzle, your goal is to get four matching butterflies onto the same leaf. Only then will they fly away together. They are shy and only leave when they are with their own kind.

Maybe you have three red butterflies lined up on one stem, but the fourth is stuck on another leaf under a whole stack of others. You will need to free it by moving the rest out of the way. Click a butterfly to select it, then click another leaf and it will fly there. You can only move it to an empty leaf or onto butterflies of the same kind.

How to play?

In this sorting puzzle game, think through every move. If you send a butterfly to the wrong leaf, you can block the one you need at the bottom and you will not be able to reach it. Use empty leaves as temporary spots. Move extra butterflies there for a moment to open access to the ones you need. Once you collect four identical butterflies on one stem, they fly away together and free up that leaf. This gives you more space to sort the butterflies that are left.

The levels get harder quickly. At first, you have plenty of leaves and just a few butterflies, so it is easy to sort them. Later on, there are fewer leaves and more butterfly types, with five or six butterflies crowding each stem. If you get stuck, restart the level and try a different order of moves. Send all the butterflies flying to finish the level, and the next one will unlock with an even trickier sorting challenge.
