1080° Snowboarding
Powdery slopes and steep descents set the pace in 1080° Snowboarding, a Nintendo 64 snowboard game built on downhill speed and aerial scoring. A rider carves through mountain courses, chasing race times in one event and piling up stunt points in another. Several modes change the conditions, with stunt sessions, races, competitions, practice runs, and an options menu. Scoring in trick events uses button combinations that trigger different grabs and spins. Race courses also reward airtime, though the route down the hill and board speed carry more weight there.
How to play?
From the mode select screen, pick a rider, then choose a board that fits the course and the way you want to ride. Character stats affect speed, technique, and weight, which change movement on the slope and response off jumps. On the descent, thread between mountain barriers and other course objects, then launch from jumps or ledges to stay airborne longer and stack more trick points before landing.
