Improve your social rank and keep your needs in check. You'll navigate urban streets, searching dumpsters for items to sell. Interact with different city spots to collect resources or earn cash. The current goal always shows in the top-right, so you know what to do next. Completing these tasks gives experience and a bit of money. Unlock new abilities as you progress. If a quest doesn't fit your style, you can skip it using the on-screen button. Hooligans may lurk near alley corners. Watch for them, since getting caught costs you time and can lower your stats. When your progress bar fills, you get to pick from three random perks. Each gives an upgrade that makes certain challenges easier. Keep watch on your character's vitals—hunger, health, and mood all affect how well you can perform. Use the beg function to get spare change from people walking by. As you collect money and experience, upgrade where your character lives. This opens up new regions in the city.
